Grinnell-in-Chicago: Evanston Summer Picnic
The Grinnell-in-Chicago Regional Planning Committee, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and the Office of Admission invite all members of the Grinnell community and their families in the area to the Grinnell-in-Chicago summer picnic. See old friends, make new ones, and give a special welcome to the just-graduated class of 2017 and the entering class of 2021.

Online registration will remain open until Sunday, June 18. After that, please register with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations by phone at 866-850-1846 or by email to alumni@grinnell.edu.
Please note that the registrant list on this page is not comprehensive; as of noon on Thursday, June 22, we have over 60 people planning to join us on Sunday. We hope you'll plan to be there as well!
Potluck instructions: Please bring a dish to share based on the list below.
If your last name begins with:
A–H — please bring finger foods (fruit, cheese, crackers, etc.)
I–R — please bring a salad or side dish
S–Z — please bring dessert
As hosts, Anne Stein '84 and Nancy Ying '95 will provide meat and veggie burgers, buns, table service (plates, napkins, and utensils), ice, and beverages.
Please bring lawn chairs or blankets if you can.

Directions
The picnic will be in Dawes Park on Evanston's lakefront, 1700 Sheridan Road between Lake and Greenwood Streets. The park is one block south of Davis Street (six blocks east of the Davis Street Metra and El stops), with street parking. We'll have two grills and four picnic tables at Site C in the center of the park.
Sheridan Road is one way going north along Dawes Park. If you're heading north, take Forest Avenue, go right on Greenwood Avenue for a block and park.
