Reunion Lodging
On-Campus Lodging
Staying on campus is the best way to immerse yourself in the Reunion experience. You’ll be close to classmates and all the weekend activities, making it easy to reconnect and enjoy the spirit of Grinnell.
What to Expect:
- Simple, traditional dorm rooms with twin-sized beds in newly refurbished halls.
- Air conditioning in every dorm, either central or in-room units.
- Bathrooms are located down the hall, and communal lodging means you’ll share the space and the lively atmosphere of Reunion.
- Rooms are available Thursday at noon through Sunday at 1:30 p.m.
- You’ll receive your room assignment at check-in.
Dorm accommodations are clean and practical, designed for simplicity rather than luxury. They offer convenience and camaraderie, perfect for those who value being close to the heart of Reunion. Bringing a few personal comforts can make your stay even more enjoyable.
Dorms
- Class & Cluster Dorms: We prioritize housing classes and clusters together in the same dorm or in nearby dorms whenever possible. This may not be feasible for late registrations, so register early for the best chance to be near your group.
- Family Dorm: One dorm is set aside as a quiet option, ideal for families with small children.
- GRÆY Dorm: For alums who return regularly (Grinnell Reunion Any/Every Year) - all are welcome!
- Renfrow Hall:
- Guests celebrating their 70th Reunion enjoy complimentary accommodations in Renfrow Hall.
- 4-bedroom apartments in Renfrow Hall are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Each apartment includes four single bedrooms, a full kitchen, a combined living/dining room, and one bathroom.
- Guests should bring their own kitchen and cooking supplies (coffee pot, toaster, pots, pans, utensils, etc.) if they plan to prepare food.
- These apartments will be offered during registration as long as they are available. If you don’t see them listed as an option, it means they are fully booked.
Accessibility
Elevator access is available in dorms for our 50th, 55th, 65th, and 70th Reunion celebrants. Learn more about accessibility resources available to campus visitors and see an online accessibility map which features accessibility information about campus buildings and facilities.
