Class of 1969 50th Reunion

Alumni College: May 29-30, 2019
Reunion: May 30-June 2, 2019

Calling All ’69 Classmates!

A committee of our classmates will be reaching out to everyone by phone to share information about the Reunion and to invite your feedback about what we are planning and who is planning to attend. We will post a list here of the classmates who plan to attend later in the fall.

Do you want to help call classmates or share your plans now? Contact Bruce Strom, our Outreach Chair.

Share who you’d like to see at Reunion for our next class letter. Write to Class Agent Murry Nelson.

Support the Class Memory Book

Share your memories of life at Grinnell, 1965-1969. Join the class listserv (instructions below) and connect with our weekly email discussions on our Grinnell memories. These memories will be collected into a special 50th reunion commemorative book that we will print and share on campus.

All classmates are asked to submit a current photo of themselves doing something they love. Please send your photo to Diana Brown Holbert or to her address 3941 Redwood Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90066

Contact Editors Diana Brown Holbert, Ann Kirschner, or Glen Gleysteen Jerrard with questions or for more information.

Join the Class of ’69 Email Discussion Group (aka listserv)

To subscribe, send an email to update@grinnell.edu. In the “Subject” line, write “Subscribe ’69.” It takes a business day to process. Once confirmed, send your messages and memories to grinnell69@lyris.grinnell.edu, and they will be sent to all subscribers of the 1969 class listserv .

Share Your Ideas!

Share your opinion on programs we are considering for the Reunion via an online survey. We’ll be tallying survey results through October. If you have specific program ideas (e.g. a faculty presenter, a panel topic, a brief performance by a classmate) contact Tom Triplett, our Programs Chair.

Do you have ideas to make our class lounge or Saturday night dinner extra-special? Contact our Lounge Party Chair Bill Bemis or our Saturday Dinner Chair Brenda Thomas.
