Grinnell-in-Washington, D.C. 2016 Fall Picnic
The Grinnell-in-Washington, D.C. Regional Planning Committee invites Grinnell alumni of all ages, parents of current students or alumni, and their families to the Grinnell-in-Washington, D.C. fall picnic. See old friends, make new ones, and give a special welcome the class of 2016 to the Grinnell-in-Washington, D.C. alumni community.

Registration for this event has now closed. If you are planning on joining us on Sunday, please note that we will not have a printed nametag for you. We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
Potluck Instructions:
Please bring a dish to share with others guests based on the list below.
If your last name begins with
- A–E ― please bring a dessert
- F–S ― please bring a main dish, salad, or items to grill
- T–Z ― please bring non-alcoholic beverages (lemonade, soda, water, etc.)
Hosts will provide plates, cups, napkins, and utensils. However, please consider bringing your own reusable table service to help minimize waste. Please be sure to bring serving utensils for your potluck item, and note that alcohol is not permitted within Rock Creek Park.
The picnic site includes a covered pavilion and picnic tables for our use. The hosts will provide charcoal and will have the grills lit, if you would like to bring items to grill.

The picnic site is located across from Peirce Mill, at the intersection of Tilden Street NW, Park Road, and Beach Drive, off of Connecticut Avenue NW and north of the National Zoo. The closest Metro stations are Cleveland Park and Van Ness. The walk from the Van Ness Metro Station to the picnic site is mostly downhill.
