Alumni Choir
Share in the joy of creating music with fellow Grinnellians by singing in the Alumni Choir during Reunion weekend. Under the direction of John Rommereim, Blanche Johnson Professor of Music, the choir will perform in Herrick Chapel at Alumni Assembly on Saturday afternoon.
Rehearsal will take place late Friday morning, and choir members are also invited to share the same piece during the Ecumenical Christian Service on Sunday morning.
Sign up during the Reunion registration process by May 1, and you’ll receive a PDF of the score to prepare in advance.
Grinnell Authors Display
We’re thrilled to spotlight original works by alumni, faculty, and staff during Reunion. If you’d like to participate, please submit your registration form by May 1 so the Pioneer Bookshop can prepare for your titles.
Who Can Participate?
All Grinnellians - alums from any class year, as well as faculty and staff - are warmly invited to join.
What to Expect
Registered authors will have up to two books featured in a special display at the Pioneer Bookshop (933 Main Street, Grinnell), open throughout Reunion. Whether you’re traditionally published or self-published, we want to celebrate your work!
How It Works
- Submit up to two titles for inclusion.
- Indicate if the Bookshop should order your books (if they have an account with your publisher).
- Let us know if you’ll bring your own copies or need a 2D display with cover art and QR code.
Simply drop off one copy of each book at the Bookshop before Reunion or upon arrival. These will be featured in the display along with your contact information so attendees can connect with you directly. Please note: The College cannot manage sales unless your book is stocked by the Bookshop.
Space is limited, so register early! We can’t wait to showcase your creativity.
