Grinnell-in-the-Twin Cities: Franconia Sculpture Park Tour
Join Pat and Anne Rawland '82 Gabriel, and the Grinnell-in-the-Twin Cities Regional Planning Committee for a family-friendly outing and tour of Franconia Sculpture Park! The park has 105 large-scale sculptures to explore over 43 acres of mowed and gravel paths — join us for a 60-minute tour led by an artist-in-residence who will provide behind-the-scenes information on the ideas, concepts, themes, and processes of the art.

Family-friendly: A hidden gem that truly offers something for everyone, Franconia's sculptures are also kid-friendly and many are purpose-built for encouraging inventive interaction whether you're a child or one at heart!
Informal Social: We encourage you to bring snacks and nonalcoholic beverages for yourself if you plan to stay for the post-tour gathering. There will not be a food vendor, but bottled water and ice pops will be available for purchase.
Registration: The tour is free, but please register so we know how many people to plan for. Register with the Office of Development and Alumni Relations online below or by phone at 866-850-1846 by Thursday, September 7.
