Grinnell-in-Western North Carolina: Pi Day Pie Party
Serving the common good is at the core of the Grinnell College mission and drives our strong community. It is thus with great care and concern for the health and wellness of our Western North Carolina-area alumni, parents, and friends that we announce the cancellation of the Pi Day Pie Party this Saturday, March 14.
We are disappointed that we are not able to gather as expected; however, social distancing and avoidance of unnecessary travel are both strong counters to the coronavirus (COVID-19). Postponing this event is a proactive measure that supports the wellbeing of our Grinnell community members.
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations will work with Alison Hayes '87 to identify a revised date for a similar event later in the year and looks forward to communicating with you about this new opportunity in the months ahead.
