Why I Wanted to Serve on the Alumni Council:
As both a graduate and a parent of graduate it seemed like a chance to give back to the college that has been part of my life for over 45 years... Given my experience in higher education, it seemed like I might have something to contribute.
A Quote I Like:

A Little Bit About Me:
I am an an award-winning media maker as well as the Professor in the Cinema and Television Arts Department of Columbia College Chicago. I have written and lectured extensively on television, popular culture and emerging narrative forms. I wrote a book entitled “Storytelling Across Worlds: Transmedia for Creatives and Producers”. Which means I am endlessly curious about storytelling and how it is evolving, given that how we live seems to change with each passing day. I watch an insane amount of TV and actually enjoy most of the time...
