Cheer on your Pioneers in their home opener vs. Marian University!

7 p.m.
Alumni Welcome Reception, Periodic Table, Hotel Grinnell
Join us for light hors d’oeuvres and refreshments. All registered guests will receive two drink tickets!

8 p.m.
Home Volleyball Match, Darby Gym
Watch the Pioneers take on Saint Mary’s University.

Saturday, September 3

8 a.m.
5K Fun Run, BEAR Entrance
Meet near the BEAR Entrance to participate in a 5K Fun Run with head cross country coach Sarah Burnell ’14, and head track & field coach Jeff Pedersen ’02. There will be fun prizes and giveaways!

8:30 a.m.
Cross Country and Track & Field Coffee and Donuts, BEAR Lobby
This event is open to cross country and track & field alumni, as well as all alumni who participated in the 5K!

9:30–11:30 a.m.
Open Football Practice, Rosenbloom Field
Join us on Rosenbloom Field to watch your Pioneers prepare for their upcoming season. 

10:30 a.m.
Private Brunch for Hall of Fame Inductees and Families, Grinnell College Golf Course

Cheer on your Pioneers as they take on Concordia College!

Baseball Alumni Game, Pioneer Park
All baseball alumni are invited to meet us at the field for a fun scrimmage.

Meet in the BEAR Lobby for an athletic facilities tour led by Ben Cooprider, associate athletic director and coordinator of athletic facilities.

Cheer on the volleyball team in their final game of the weekend, vs. Greenville University.

6–9 p.m.
Outdoor Celebration and Public Hall of Fame Induction
Join us promptly at 6 p.m. to celebrate our most recent Hall of Fame inductees. Stick around for music, food, beverages, and fun games. Registered guests will receive access to a buffet and beer tent. Learn more about the ten Hall of Fame inductees.

Sunday, September 4

18-Hole Golf Scramble, Grinnell College Golf Course

Run, Walk, or Hike with the Cross Country Team, Rock Creek State Park
Join the cross country team for their Sunday morning practice at Rock Creek State Park!

10:30 a.m.
“To Be An Athlete at Grinnell College”, JRC 101
Hear what alumni from different eras have to say about the significance of athletics in their experiences as Grinnell College students and after. Current student-athlete Erin Lillis ’24 will pose questions to a panel of distinguished alumni: Tai Duncan ’04, Shirlene Luk ’15, Mark Trocinski ’99, and Kit Wall ’77.
