Grinnell-in-New Orleans: Reception with Students
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations invites you to a gathering with 18 Grinnellians studying in New Orleans at Fritai. Assistant Professor of Art History Fredo Rivera ’06 and Professor of Chemistry Mark Levandoski co-lead course-embedded travel with 15 first-year students exploring the special topic - Sugar, Science, Slavery: Visualizing Modernity in the Americas. Welcome them to New Orleans as they take their studies on the road!

The College will provide a selection Haitian street food and soft drinks for all attendees. Following the reception, the class is planning to explore the Congo Square Rhythms Festival and welcome you to join them. There is no cost to attend this event, but space is limited, so register quickly!
