Grinnell-in-New York: Summer Party

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations and the Office of Admission invite all members of the Grinnell community (and their families) in the area to the Grinnell-in-New York summer party. See old friends, make new ones, and give a special welcome to the just-graduated class of 2017 and the entering class of 2021.

Please note that the Registered Attendees list to the left does not display all registrants or all guests and is therefore not fully representative.

An assortment of hors d'oeuvres and nonalcoholic beverages will be provided for your enjoyment. Alcoholic beverages will be available for purchase at a full bar; cash and credit cards will be accepted.

Directions

By foot or on bike from the Hudson River Greenway: The venue is accessible from the Hudson River Greenway, which extends from Battery Park to Fort Tryon Park. Continue along the greenway until you reach the 79th Street Boat Basin in the Hudson River. The café is on the east side of the greenway and faces the boat basin; enter the café by the staircase or wheelchair-accessible ramp.

From 79th Street and Riverside Drive: Cross Riverside Drive on either the north or south side of the street. Walk underneath the green overpass of the Henry Hudson Parkway. On the South side of 79th Street, there is a staircase that will lead you to the café. On the north side of 79th Street, there is a staircase and a wheelchair-accessible ramp.

Closest public transit: M5, M104, M11, M7, M79 buses and 1, 2, 3, B, or C subway lines.
