15th Reunion Mixology Class and Happy Hour with Rachel Miller ’06
Have you always wanted to learn how to make classic cocktails at home? Have you dreamed of crafting your own, unique cocktails? Maybe you're getting excited for Reunion 2023 and can't wait to see your Grinnell classmates?
If so, join us for a live virtual mixology class hosted by professional mixologist and bartender Rachel Miller ’06 and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations.
While touching on the fundamentals of classic cocktails, this class will focus on "modern classics" and "dealer's choice" cocktails. You will learn how classic cocktails came to be and use your own creativity to make something new, perhaps even using what you already have at home. There will be a detailed demonstration of how to make an Oaxaca Old Fashioned and a Jasmine Cocktail, with non-alcoholic alternatives as well.
Participants will be provided the recipes and ingredients lists if you wish to mix and drink along or you are welcome to just watch and ask questions!
Of course, you'll also have the opportunity to connect with your fellow Grinnellians along the way!
