Why I Wanted to Serve on the Alumni Council:

I joined the Alumni Council because I value the extended Grinnell Community. As a student, Grinnell provided me with the skills and experience to be successful in my career. As an adult, the extended Grinnell community provides alumni and current students with both formal and informal support, resources, and friendship. I’d like to assist in strengthening those connections.

A Quote I Like:

“If I can’t dance, I don’t want to be part of your revolution.”

―Emma Goldman

A Little Bit About Me:

I am currently a nonpartisan attorney for the Delaware General Assembly. Prior to this position, I was the Chief Policy Advisor to the Secretary of the Delaware Department of Health & Social Services and an attorney at the Community Legal Aid Society, Inc. I volunteer as a coach for a high school mock trial team and at the Food Bank of Delaware. I listen to at least 1 audiobook a week and always enjoy book recommendations from Grinnellians. In my spare time, I like to be outside – running, hiking, and biking.

Other Alumni Involvement: Class Fund Director, Externship Host
