Grinnell-in-the-Corridor: Hickory Hill Park Volunteer Event
Hosted by Robin Kopelman ’95, Ezra Edgerton ’16, and the Grinnell-in-the-Corridor Planning Committee.
Join Corridor Grinnellians in a wonderful outdoor volunteer opportunity. We will be joining Friends of Hickory Hill Park in a workday led by alum Ezra Edgerton. Dress appropriately for the weather (who knows in April in Iowa?), wear closed toed shoes, and wear work gloves (if you have them.) Bring water and a love for the preservation of this Iowa City gem. We will largely be working on removal of invasive species near the new Pete’s Prairie. Tools will be provided.
Saturday, April 12
9 a.m.–noon
Meet at the north entrance of Hickory Hill Park - Conklin Lane entrance.
This will be a great opportunity to network, share insights, and reconnect with the department in a casual setting. Whether you’re passionate about psychology or just want to meet the next generation of scholars, we’d love to have you there.
