Gates Tower once again aglow for the holidays

Dec. 14, 2023 — The Arctic Lights have returned to Gates-Rawson Tower after a celebratory debut earlier this month.

Established in 2015 as a community-building event by Austin Cote ’15, Grinnell College class ambassadors organize the annual event to light up Gates-Rawson Tower. This year’s festivities on Dec. 6 included student performances by Con Brio A Capella and Sasha Laugen ’26, cookies and hot cocoa, giveaways, and the unveiling of the lights.
