Make the Future Possible: One Month and One Grinnellian at a Time

Mariia Minieieva ’27“Grinnell’s abundant resources overwhelm me; I wish for more time to explore them all. In just one semester as a first-year student, I’ve enrolled in a study-abroad program, utilized the Writing Lab, and joined MentorGrinnell, connecting with an alumni mentor who fueled my passion for the arts and communication industry. Alumni contributions are everywhere, from the smallest resources, such as dictionaries in the library, to the largest, such as scholarships, that almost entirely cover my education at Grinnell.”

February 2024

Dear Grinnellians,

The new year is a time for hope and optimism, new beginnings, and new goals. It is a time when we can reflect on the past and make resolutions to ensure that what is good and worthwhile will continue to grow and flourish. And when you commit to a monthly recurring gift to Grinnell, you are helping to support both current students and future generations of Grinnellians and the promise they represent for their families and communities.

A monthly gift to the College spreads your commitment over the year, ensuring its impact will benefit students at Grinnell every month, all year long, with no further action required on your part — it’s a resolution that is both incredibly meaningful and easy to keep.

You can direct your gift to any part of the Grinnell experience you choose to support, or it can be directed toward the Pioneer Fund to support the greatest needs of Grinnell students today, including professional internships, off-campus study (including study abroad), and both mentored and independent research. These opportunities help students excel, with 88% of graduates who pursue graduate education gaining admission to their first- or second-choice school or program. Of those going on to employment after graduation, 97% find positions related to their career goals.

Commit to a recurring gift today; you just might change a life — or the world. Because the world needs more Grinnellians.

Warm regards,

Jillian N. Beukema
