In early 2020, we will be reaching out to our alumni community to participate in an attitudinal survey. This survey is your way to share you opinions with Grinnell.

Why is the College conducting a survey?

Your feedback is important to us and will help inform future alumni programming and messaging.

When did the College last conduct this type of survey?

Our most recent alumni survey of this type took place in 2012.  Other targeted surveys (reunion, regional events, Grinnell Magazine, etc.) have been deployed since that time.

When will the survey take place?

The survey is tentatively scheduled to take place late January – early February. Stay tuned for more details. The exact date will be posted when it becomes available.

Will my identity be connected to my survey submission?

Your response is confidential. After you click “submit,” our research partner, PEG Ltd., will collect and analyze your answers. Results will be presented in aggregate to the College.

What’s in it for me?

After you “submit,” look for a link to enter a drawing for some GC prizes(TBD)

How will the results be used?

The collective results from our alumni community will help us get a better understanding of your expectations of Grinnell College. This will inform how we’ll continue working hard to serve your interests and those of our students.

How long will the survey take?

A general estimate of 15 minutes is given, but lengthier open-ended responses may require additional time.
