Why I Wanted to Serve on the Alumni Council:

I would love to learn the inner workings of how to best support our future students. Grinnell is world-renowned for connecting and cultivating curious, purpose-driven minds, and I want to be part of that pipeline in a meaningful way. As a Grinnell alumna who went on to earn a PhD and build an interdisciplinary career spanning biotechnology, wellness, and entrepreneurship, I know firsthand how transformative this institution can be. I want to give back by helping prospective and current students see what is possible beyond the conventional path, and to advocate for the kind of bold, self-directed thinking Grinnell instills.

A Quote I Like:

“Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self”
—Bhagavad Gita
