Why I Wanted to Serve on the Alumni Council:

I want to remain connected, not just to my own College experience, but to the evolving pulse of Grinnell today and what makes it tick. I want to find new ways to use my talent and experience to give back to the College and to help keep it strong by leveraging the amazing resource of its alumni.

A Quote I Like:

“To love another person is to see the face of God.”

―Victor Hugo

A Little Bit About Me:

I oversee grant project/proposal development at Alverno College, managing corporate, foundation, and government funding relationships. I also teach fundraising and grant writing to undergrads and grad students, and recently developed curriculum for a new self-paced, experiential online degree program. I also volunteer as Outreach Coordinator for the Shiba Inu Rescue Association and with Lost Dogs of Wisconsin. In my free time, when I'm not out walking with my dogs, I am cooking, working in the garden, enjoying a concert or the theatre, or rooting for the Milwaukee Brewers with my husband Tony.

Other Alumni Involvement: Reunion planning committee, Admissions volunteer
