Join alumni, current students, families, coaches, and friends of the College for a special weekend celebrating the connections, traditions, and experiences that make Grinnell distinctive.
Held in conjunction with We Are Family Weekend, this year's Athletics Reunion will bring generations of Pioneers together for a weekend of athletic competition, campus experiences, recognition ceremonies, and opportunities to reconnect with teammates, classmates, and the broader Grinnell community.
Whether you're returning to celebrate our newest Hall of Fame inductees, cheer on the Pioneers, connect with former teammates, or introduce family members to Grinnell, we hope you'll join us for an unforgettable weekend.
Tentative Weekend Schedule
Please Note: The schedule below is preliminary and subject to change. Additional events may be added, and event times and locations may be updated as plans for Athletics Reunion and We Are Family Weekend are finalized.
Friday, September 25
- 2-5:30 p.m. - Open Swim Practice
- 3:30-5:30 p.m. - Campus Open Houses, including cultural centers, Renfrow Hall, and Careers, Life, and Service
- 4:15 p.m. - Open Football Practice
- 5 p.m. - Alumni Welcome Reception
- 7:30-9 p.m. - Grinnell Singers and Grinnell Oratorio Society Concert
Saturday, September 26
- 9-10 a.m. - Athletic Facilities Tour
- 10-11:30 a.m. - Student Research Poster Sessions
- 10:30 a.m. - Randall Relays Swim Meet
- 11 a.m. - Volleyball vs. Central College
- 11 a.m. - Men's Soccer vs. Ripon College
- 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. - We Are Family Weekend Lunch (open to alumni)
- 12:45 p.m. - Athletics Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
- 1 p.m. - Football vs. Beloit College
- 1:30 p.m. - Women's Soccer vs. Ripon College
- 3 p.m. - Volleyball vs. Alverno College
- 4-5 p.m. - Pioneer Connections Reception: Alumni, student-athletes, families, coaches, students, and friends of the College are invited to join us for this casual networking and social gathering.
- 5 p.m. - Athletics Hall of Fame Dinner (invitation only)
- 7 p.m. - Grinnell Jazz Ensemble Concert
Sunday, September 27
- 10:30-11:30 a.m. - Interdenominational Christian Worship Service
