Making papercut art from one sheet of paper

Learn about the art of papercutting, in this workshop style class learn the steps and skills to create bold designs in black and white with basic materials. Papercutting is a fun way to make anything from greeting cards to logos or posters.

Meet Lara Gaasland-Tatro ’05

Lara Gaasland-Tatro is a scientist, sailor, and an artist. She works in cut paper, carefully cutting out pictures from a single sheet of paper with an exacto knife. Her current project is S is for Schooner, a children's book with cut paper illustrations.
