Grinnell-in-Chicago: Summer Barbecue

Franklin Gilmore-Metz '06, Luzat Khandkar '07, the Office of Development and Alumni Relations, and the Office of Admission invite all members of the Grinnell community and their families in the area to the Grinnell-in-Chicago summer barbecue. See old friends, make new ones, and give a special welcome to the just-graduated class of 2017 and the entering class of 2021.

Potluck instructions

Please bring a dish to share with others based on the list below.

If your last name begins with:
A–K ― please bring an appetizer, side dish, salad, or finger food
L–Q ― please bring a dessert
R–Z ― please bring a beverage (alcoholic or nonalcoholic)

As the host, Franklin will grill the main dish (both meat and vegetarian options); please feel free to bring something to grill, if you would like. Franklin and Luzat will also provide plates, cups, napkins, flatware, water, and ice.

Directions

The closest train stops are on the Blue Line at Western and Damen Avenues; the number 72 CTA bus runs on North Avenue and stops at Rockwell Street. Street parking is available in surrounding area.
