Reunion Childcare
Professional childcare option for Saturday evening
Grinnell College has partnered with the Grinnell Community Daycare to provide a childcare option for Saturday evening for children 6 weeks-11 years old.
The hours will be 4 p.m.-10 p.m. and care will be provided at the Grinnell Community Daycare, 1436 Penrose Street in Grinnell. Dinner will be provided.
Check in details
A shuttle will be provided from the main entrance of the Joe Rosenfield ’25 Center (JRC) to the Daycare, but parents may also drive their children to the location for drop off and pick up. The shuttle will NOT have child safety seats. Please bring your own safety seats if your child is under 7 years old. The shuttle will not transport children under 7 without the proper seat.
Parents are required to check their children in and bring a completed registration/medical release form for your child. If you choose to drop off your child, please let us know at the Help Desk.
If you complete the registration/medical release form in advance of Reunion, please email the completed form to reunionhelpdesk@grinnell.edu.
What to bring along
If you have an infant or toddler who needs diapers, formula and/or baby food, you are expected to provide these supplies. If your child requires any medications during the weekend, there will be additional paperwork for you to fill out at the Day Care Center. Please label all clothes and toys!
Before you register
If your child needs special supervision or has special needs, please tell us when you register by emailing us at reunionhelpdesk@grinnell.edu. Failure to provide special considerations and/or needs of a child in advance may result in your child not being able to participate. Our goal is the safety and enjoyment of your child and the other children in the program. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
