Arctic Lights return to Gates-Rawson Tower

December 15, 2022 — The Arctic Lights are once again visible on the Grinnell College campus.

Established in 2015 as a community-building event by Austin Cote ’15, Grinnell College class ambassadors organize an annual event to light up Gates-Rawson Tower. This year’s festivities on Dec. 1 included a winter craft activity, cookies and hot cocoa, and the unveiling of the lights. There also were three performances by Sasha Laugen ’26, Con Brio A Capella, and a student improv group.
