Connecting Grinnellians for the Common Good: An Evening in Iowa City with President Anne F. Harris
This special event is an opportunity for alumni, parents, and friends to meet President Anne F. Harris and join in conversation about being at Grinnell College today and in the future. Building around our core values of excellence in education, a diverse community, and social responsibility are brought to life in “Knowledge into Action,” a strategic plan that strengthens collaboration and discovery for positive change at Grinnell and in the world it shapes.

Parking Directions
Attendees to Bread Garden Events at Plaza Towers may opt to utilize the Dubuque Street Parking Ramp located at 220 S Dubuque Street. There are two ramp entrances, one each on Linn Street and Dubuque Street, immediately off Burlington St. The first hour in the ramp is free and it is $1 for each hour afterwards. The parking ramp charges Monday-Saturday from 8am-12am and Sundays from 8am-10pm. Those using the ramp may enter the Plaza Towers building using the skywalk on red level 3 east. When entering the building from the skywalk the event space will be straight back and to the left of the main stairwell.
Walking Directions
Pedestrian attendees to Bread Garden Events at Plaza Towers may enter the building at 221 E College Street, directly across from the Iowa City Public Library on the ped mall. Upon entering the building from the ped mall, guests may use the elevator to the right of the entrance or take the main stairs up to level 2. The event space will be immediately to the right off this elevator or around the corner to the right from the stairs.
Lyft/Drop Off Directions
Attendees to Bread Garden Events at Plaza Towers can opt to get dropped off in the loading zone for hotelVetro, south facing on Linn Street. Upon entering the hotel lobby use the middle elevator to access level 2. The event space with be to the left when exiting this elevator.
