Saurabh Saraf '05 is Director of Corporate Strategy at Staples, where he works across business units. Previously, he was an Engagement Manager at L.E.K. Consulting, where he advised clients across various industries, including aviation, retail, and education. After working across North America, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa, he now lives in Boston.
Saurabh has a BA in Economics and Global Development Studies, as well as a certificate from the Social Commitment Preparatory Program, from Grinnell College. After Grinnell, he earned an MBA from Harvard Business School. He serves both his alma maters in volunteer capacities. In addition to his current membership on Grinnell’s Alumni Council, Saurabh is a volunteer for Grinnell College’s Grinnell Regional Admission Support Program (commonly known as GRASP). He’s also an alumni correspondent for his graduate school. Previously, Saurabh served for 6 years on the divisional board of Junior Achievement of Chicago.
When he was a student at Grinnell, Saurabh served as a member of both Student Educational Policy Committees and as a Student Advisor. He also was a co-leader of the Buddies program (now Big Brothers Big Sisters) and Experimental College (ExCo). Saurabh lived on south and east campus, and he still gets lost north of Younker Hall.
