Diversity and Inclusion Committee, Election and Membership Committee
Ryann Haines Cheung '93 is a fifth generation Grinnellian and is proud to say that both of her children came home from the hospital in Grinnell onesies. While at Grinnell, Ryann was a political science major, a Student Advisor and a four-year team member on the Mad Ducks, Grinnell's Swimmin Wimmin. She also participated in theatre productions, Waltz Committee and, along with Michael Ison '93, had a very popular KDIC radio show her senior year which garnered at least one phone call to the station every two weeks!
After graduating from Grinnell and having earned her "Four Midwestern Winters" badge, Ryann returned to her home state of California and worked for Guckenheimer Enterprises, AMS, and McKesson. She is currently Senior Manager, Compliance and Ethics Training at McKesson, a role she's held since 2014. From 2010-2013, she was a Learning Advisor with McKesson Center for Learning and earlier ran McKesson's MBA hiring efforts, including starting and serving as program manager for the Finance Rotational Development Program. Ryann also holds an MBA from San Francisco State University. She is an active volunteer with Grinnell (CFD for Class of '93) as well as the elementary school that her two boys attend and Cub Scout Pack 274. Outside of work and volunteering, her interests include sewing clothes, reading, cooking and craft cocktails.
