Rick graduated from Grinnell in 1982 with a major in Economics. He began his career in the Savings & Loan industry in Ames, Iowa. In 1986 he moved to Charlotte, NC and worked for First Union National Bank.
After ten years of Bank Merger Mania, Rick and his family moved to Jackson Hole, WY for a quieter and more relaxed lifestyle. He has been a Senior Accountant for St John's Medical Center/St John's Hospital Foundation for the past 18 years and enjoys working in the ever changing health care industry.
Rick currently lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with his spouse Kathy and have a daughter Samantha who is studying Musical Theatre at the University of Utah. They enjoy down hill and cross county skiing, fly fishing, golfing, bike riding, and hiking in the Grand Teton and Yellowstone area. During the long winter months they enjoy escaping the frozen tundra for scuba diving and golfing.
In addition to the Alumni Council, Rick volunteers as Co-CFD for the Class of '82, is a GRASP representative, was a Board member of Jackson Hole Trout Unlimited, and currently sits on the Board of the Jackson Hole Senior Center and the SJEC Endowment Committee.
