This space is officially named in gratitude of the generosity of Eric H. Queen ’74 and Renee E. Garrick ’75.
Tribute
Eric Queen ’74 and Renee Garrick ’75 met in the Spring of 1973 at Grinnell. Through programs then offered at Grinnell, they both skipped their senior years to attend law school (Eric) and medical school (Renee). They were married in 1979 and their daughter, Kathryn, graduated from Grinnell in 2011. The Queen-Garrick family credit Grinnell with providing lasting and wonderful friends and a lifelong love of learning enriched by their experiences inside and outside the classrooms of Grinnell.
