This space is officially named in gratitude of the generosity of Les Risser, the wife of Paul Risser, and twin brother Jim Risser, in memory of Paul G. Risser ’61.
Tribute
Paul G. Risser was a champion for education. Born in Blackwell, Oklahoma, he was a well-published scientist and researcher in the fields of biology and ecology. He also left his mark administratively by serving as vice president, University of New Mexico, president of both Miami University and Oregon State University, and Chancellor of the Oklahoma State System of Higher Education.
