Tribute
Fred A. Little, known to his friends as Fritz, graduated from Grinnell in 1953 with a B.A. in French and history. Fritz grew up in Des Moines and attended Philips Exeter Academy. He returned to Iowa to attend Grinnell, following in the footsteps of his father, Fred A. Little 1916.
After attending Harvard Law School, Fritz had a successful law career in Washington, D.C.
Fritz was married to Erika Bast Little for 53 years and is the father of three children, Anne, Caroline ’81, and Winston and grandfather of seven grandchildren.
Fritz always had a deep fondness for Grinnell and was very engaged as a trustee.
Fritz was a kind and honorable man.
