Reunion Ambassador

Reunion Ambassadors are assigned to a specific Reunion class to assist that class with their work and their festivities. Ambassadors must be self-motivated and have the ability to work independently. Because ambassadors work with many different age groups, the ability to be flexible and communicate effectively is also important.

Reunion Ambassadors must work May 22-June 2. More hours are available through June 6, if you are interested.

If you are a certified driver of the College, or are qualified to be a certified driver, we encourage you to apply for the Reunion Driver position. As a driver, you will run shuttles back and forth to the Des Moines or the Cedar Rapids Airports, downtown Grinnell, and will staff the fleet of golf carts that transport alumni all over campus. Drivers have more direct interaction with alumni than any other position.

Drivers are required to work May 22-June 3. However, if you would like to work additional hours the week after Reunion, there are hours available on other teams.

Senior Staff

Think you have what it takes to be a reunion leader? Senior Staff are often returning reunion workers who wish to take on a leadership role after gaining some reunion experience. However, you don’t have to be experienced to apply! If you have the leadership skills to lead a team, are a hard worker, and consider yourself a fast learner, you should consider a Senior Staff position. We especially encourage first and second years to apply for the assistant staff member positions.

Senior Staff members lead each Reunion team. They require a great work ethic, patience, and an ability to motivate a team. Please indicate which Senior Staff position(s) you are applying for on your application.

Senior Staffers are required to work May 22-June 6.
