Alumni Virtual Events

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations collaborates with alumni, regional network planning committees, students, parents, and friends to host virtual events for the Grinnell community. As with all events hosted by our office, our goal is to gather Grinnellians together for fun, learning, and a shared sense of community.

The format of the events below may vary depending on the content and purpose of the event. Every event will list the technology platform being used (Cisco webex, Zoom, etc.) and we encourage you to download that platform in advance of the event.

Also, in these uncertain times, events may need to be postponed or adapted if a host becomes ill or if circumstances change. We appreciate your flexibility as we work through these things together.

Grinnell-in-Cleveland Summer Picnic

Emily Zabor ’03 and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations invite you to the Grinnell-in-Cleveland summer picnic.

Summer picnics are fun, casual get togethers for Grinnellians. All members of the Grinnell Community — alumni, current students, incoming new students, family members, and friends — are welcome at summer picnics.

Register online or by phone at 866-850-1846 by Tuesday, June 6.
 
Potluck Details: This summer picnic is a potluck. As host, Emily will provide the main dishes (meat and vegetarian/vegan), drinks, and serveware. If you are able, please bring a dish to share based on the list below. If you can't bring anything, don't worry! There will be plenty of food for everyone.

If your last name begins with: 

A–H — please bring a dessert
I–Q — please bring an appetizer or beverage
R–Z — please bring a side dish

Parking: There is parking available at the park. Follow the Grinnell College summer picnic signs.
