Grinnell College invites you to a reception with Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College Michael Latham at the Chemical Heritage Foundation.

Join fellow Grinnellians for a discussion about Grinnell's goal to expand the impact of global experiences through the newly launched Institute for Global Engagement.

Directions

The Chemical Heritage Foundation is located close to Independence National Historical Park in Philadelphia’s Old City.

From Interstate 95 take Exit 22, following the signs for the Historic Area and Independence Hall. Go straight on Second Street to Market Street. Turn right onto Market and go two blocks to Fourth Street. Turn left onto Fourth and go one block to Chestnut Street. Turn left onto Chestnut Street. The Chemical Heritage Foundation is on the left between Fourth and Third streets.

Mass Transit SEPTA buses stopping near the Chemical Heritage Foundation include routes 5, 9, 17, 21, 33, 38, 42, 44, 48, 57, and 121. All SEPTA Regional Rail Lines serve Market East Station at 10th and Market streets, which is a few blocks' walk or a quick ride on the bus or subway. SEPTA Market-Frankford Line has stations at both Second and Fifth streets on Market, just around the corner.

In addition to SEPTA service, the Philly PHLASH Downtown Loop stops directly in front of the the foundation.
