Alumni Virtual Events

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations collaborates with alumni, regional network planning committees, students, parents, and friends to host virtual events for the Grinnell community. As with all events hosted by our office, our goal is to gather Grinnellians together for fun, learning, and a shared sense of community.

The format of the events below may vary depending on the content and purpose of the event. Every event will list the technology platform being used (Cisco webex, Zoom, etc.) and we encourage you to download that platform in advance of the event.

Also, in these uncertain times, events may need to be postponed or adapted if a host becomes ill or if circumstances change. We appreciate your flexibility as we work through these things together.

Grinnell-in-Tulsa Summer Picnic

Scott and Laura Cleveland Shepherd ’82 and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations invite you to the Grinnell-in-Tulsa summer picnic.

Summer picnics are fun, casual get togethers for Grinnellians. All members of the Grinnell Community — alumni, current students, incoming new students, family members, and friends — are welcome at summer picnics.

Register online or by phone at 866-850-1846 by Monday, July 1 at 11:59 p.m. CT. You will receive ticket information closer to the event. Please note, this event has a capacity so register early.

Event Details

Join your fellow Grinnellians at ONEOK Field for a baseball game between the Tulsa Drillers and Corpus Christi Hooks. The Shepherds have secured a private suite. While outside food is not allowed, food will be provided. If you have any specific allergy concerns, please contact the office directly. 

Parking & Carpooling

There are a few parking passes available and will be offered to the first registrants. There are also parking lots, street parking, and ride-sharing available for transportation to and from the field.
