Grinnell-in-Des Moines: Alumni Happy Hour
Ever wanted to write to your senator or representative, but weren't sure how to get started? Or maybe you've been making your voice heard to your legislators for years and you'd like to share your civic passion with others? We've got a Grinnell alumni happy hour for you! Join Jesse Richardson-Jones '03 and Spencer Richardson-Jones '03 and fellow Grinnell grads at the Des Moines Social Club for camaraderie, beverages, and civic engagement. We'll be writing to our state and national legislators to let them know what's on our minds.

Organizers will bring postcards, stamps, and some names and addresses. You bring the passion and the words! Even if you're unsure about topics, just ask: we can provide suggestions based on what others are passionate about. And in true Grinnellian style, we're sure you'll find others who are happy to help prompt or edit if you get writer's block!
