Alumni Virtual Events

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations collaborates with alumni, regional network planning committees, students, parents, and friends to host virtual events for the Grinnell community. As with all events hosted by our office, our goal is to gather Grinnellians together for fun, learning, and a shared sense of community.

The format of the events below may vary depending on the content and purpose of the event. Every event will list the technology platform being used (Cisco webex, Zoom, etc.) and we encourage you to download that platform in advance of the event.

Also, in these uncertain times, events may need to be postponed or adapted if a host becomes ill or if circumstances change. We appreciate your flexibility as we work through these things together.

​Grinnell College Swimming and Diving Alumni Weekend

Grinnell College Athletics invites alumni athletes from our swimming and diving programs to return to campus on Saturday, October 16, 2021, for a weekend of celebration and connection.

Come join us for a wonderful Grinnell weekend, with modified activities in order to keep all Grinnellians and guests safe. We will have a great time connecting with old friends and making new ones!

Noon
Cheer on the current student-athletes in their Scarlet and Black intersquad meet. Please wear your masks and join us in the balcony.

5 p.m.
Come to the loggia between the Football Field and the BEAR for a pizza party and fun giveaways.

Later that evening
Relax at an informal outdoor alumni gathering at the Periodic Table patio. Masks are encouraged!

We look forward to welcoming you back to campus as we celebrate Grinnell Athletics and cheer on the Pioneers!

Covid Precautions: The safety of all Grinnellians and guests remains our top priority. Please review our Covid-19 safety precautions and policies for all alumni events before attending the gathering. While on campus, masks will be required in all campus buildings regardless of vaccination status. We encourage mask-wearing at all outdoor events with close physical contact as well.
