Alumni Virtual Events

The Office of Development and Alumni Relations collaborates with alumni, regional network planning committees, students, parents, and friends to host virtual events for the Grinnell community. As with all events hosted by our office, our goal is to gather Grinnellians together for fun, learning, and a shared sense of community.

The format of the events below may vary depending on the content and purpose of the event. Every event will list the technology platform being used (Cisco webex, Zoom, etc.) and we encourage you to download that platform in advance of the event.

Also, in these uncertain times, events may need to be postponed or adapted if a host becomes ill or if circumstances change. We appreciate your flexibility as we work through these things together.

Grinnell-in-Boston Summer Picnic

Tammy Johnson ’96, Alison Nelson ’09, Lara Szent-Gyorgi ’89, and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations invite all members of the Grinnell community and their families to the Grinnell-in-Boston summer picnic at Central Wharf Co.

Summer picnics are fun, casual get togethers for Grinnellians. All members of the Grinnell Community — alumni, current students, incoming new students, family members, and friends — are welcome at summer picnics.

Event Details

The summer picnic will be held in the upstairs event space. Hors d'ouevres, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided for all guests at no cost. 

Parking: There are parking lots nearby.
