Will Bennett & The Tells Album-Release Concert
Join Grinnell-native Will Bennett '13 and our local alumni and College communities for the tour-kick off concert for Will Bennett & The Tells! The band's new album, All Your Favorite Songs, out on July 26, "marks the confident sound of Bennett coming home" and "immerses the listener in the world of small-town Iowa: the inevitable march to the town's divey watering hole ("Rabbitt's"), the unending conflict between longing to leave ("Just Looking") and the rationalizing of staying ("Linger On"), and ultimately, why we come back ("All Your Favorite Songs")."

The quilt that is the image for the album cover was made by Will's mom, Judy Bennett, and is on display in Faulconer gallery as a part of the Summer Gems: The Jewel Box Quilt Guild exhibition through Saturday, July 27. Stop in before the show to see this beautiful work of art! The gallery's summer hours are 11 a.m.–5 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
Bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket to enjoy the music! We will have a few folding chairs for those who are unable to bring a chair and need a seat. There is a red gravel path from the sidewalk to the lawn in front of the Commencement stage, which can be more easily navigated with wheelchairs or walkers and provides a smooth walking surface. The Harris Center, on 10th Avenue between Park and East streets, will be the rain location.
