Directions
The Crystal Springs Picnic Area is in the southern part of Griffith Park, just below the golf course and behind the Park Ranger Headquarters. From the Golden State (Interstate 5) freeway exit, take Crystal Springs Drive and follow the signs to Griffith Park, the zoo, and museums. When you reach the Park Ranger Headquarters, turn right and follow the road past the Pote baseball field to the picnic grounds. Pad D is located on the far north side of the picnic grounds.
If you are coming from the northern portion of the park on Griffith Park Drive, turn left at the intersection before the Park Ranger Headquarters and follow the road along the back of the building. Turn left again once you see the Pote baseball field and follow the road to the picnic site.
We look forward to seeing you!
