Grinnell-in-Washington D.C.: Zoolights
On behalf of the Grinnell-in-Washington, D.C. Regional Planning Committee, Emma Lange '16 and Sophie Neems '16, invite all Grinnellians in the area to an evening at ZooLights! This is a family-friendly event and we hope that you will consider bringing children, family, and friends to enjoy the evening with us.
6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18
Smithsonian National Zoo, Connecticut Avenue entrance
3001 Connecticut Ave. NW
Washington, D.C. 20008
We will meet at the Connecticut Avenue zoo entrance to the left of the "ZOO" sign at 6:30 p.m. We will gather as a group to walk through the ZooLights together. Admission to ZooLights is free.
After enjoying the lights, we will head to Duke's Counter around 7:45 p.m. to get some food. Please email Emma at emma.k.lange@gmail.com if you plan to join us at Duke's so we can have a rough head count.
The Smithsonian National Zoo is a ten minute walk from the Woodley Park Zoo/Adams Morgan metro stop on the red line; when exiting the metro, head up Connecticut Avenue NW until you see the zoo. Parking is also available in the zoo for $25.
If you have any questions about this event, please contact Emma at emma.k.lange@gmail.com.
We look forward to seeing you!
