Grinnell-In-Chicago: Welcome to the City
The Office of Development and Alumni Relations along with Anne E. Stein '84, Dixon Romeo '16, and the Grinnell-in-Chicago Planning Committee invite alumni, students, parents and friends of Grinnell College to a reception at Gino's East River North to welcome alumni from the class of 2018 to the Chicago area.
This event will feature professor of education Stephanie Jones as she discusses "The Afterlife of Slavery and Surveillance: How Schools are Maintained as Sites of Racial Trauma"
Friday, Oct. 26, 2018, 6–9 p.m.
The program will begin at 7 p.m.
The event will take place on the 3rd level in the Comedy Bar of the Gino's East River North located at 500 N. LaSalle St., Chicago, Illinois 60601 (near the intersection of Illinois and LaSalle streets).
Cost: $20 per person, $10 for young alumni (2014–2018) and current students includes a light buffet, beer, wine, and soft drinks.

Come join us at a new location for the 21st Annual Alumni Gathering to welcome Grinnell's most recent graduates to Chicago. Please note that the Berghoff has reduced their event space and can no longer accommodate our group. Gino's East River North is located at 500 N. LaSalle St. on the corner of Illinois and LaSalle streets. The location is convenient to the Merchandise Mart stop on the CTA's purple and brown lines.
