Grinnell Alumni and Community Cookbook

In the four years that each Grinnellian spends on campus, they share approximately 3,000 meals with friends, classmates, teammates, faculty, staff, host families, or others in the Grinnell community. Think back to your time on campus, whether you dined in Quad, Cowles, or the Joe Rosenfield ’25 Center, and the ways your relationships with your community and this very place took shape and grew around those tables. Beyond the commencement stage, we Grinnellians continue to gather to share a meal and foster these relationships and communities. From a workday lunch, to a dinner party or summer potluck picnic, there’s something special about the way we hold space for and support our relationships with each other.

In celebration of the ways that Grinnellians welcome each other to the table, we hope you will join in the Alumni Council’s project to publish an alumni and community cookbook! Please consider submitting one or more of your favorite recipes. Recipes will be accepted through March 1, 2019 and cookbooks will be printed in early summer, available for purchase at the bookstore and online.

Bon appétit!
