Humanities and Social Studies Center Recognition
The Humanities and Social Studies Center (HSSC) honors the history of Carnegie and ARH and celebrates the present and future by providing innovative, thoughtful, and interdisciplinary teaching and learning spaces where the Grinnell community learns from, and with, each other.
The HSSC was designed to embody the College’s commitment to social responsibility, an inclusive and sustainable community, and the pursuit of knowledge in service to these ends.
Generous donor support is evident throughout the building and is an enduring symbol of commitment and connection to Grinnell College.
